IN THE NEWS:Penn State's Heavyweight of the Future, Jon Gingrich, Wins National Collegiate Open Next season Penn State will be replacing two seniors from this year's starting line-up, top-ranked Frank Molinaro (149 pounds) and heavyweight Cameron Wade, who is ranked 5th nationally. Wade's likely replacement is Jon Gingrich, who concluded his rookie campaign in style by winning the National Collegiate Open over the weekend. Herrin Places Third, Terao Fourth at National Collegiate Open Members of the No. 12 American University wrestling team competed at the National Collegiate Open Sunday in Richmond, Va., an open championship designed for redshirts and backups from around the country. Heavyweight Blake Herrin led AU with a third-place finish while David Terao placed in fourth at 125 lbs.
